The right technology makes businesses more productive. The wrong technology can overwhelm a small or medium business, creating more problems than it solves. Carney Technology Group helps companies make choices that will streamline processes, support regulatory compliance, and achieve growth.

John Carney is the President and Chief Technology Therapist for Carney Technology Group. This may seem like an odd title, but it reflects John’s approach to working with customers. He listens to your business problems and takes the time to understand where improvements should be focused. John applies the best practices he learned in over 30 years of corporate IT experience to help small and medium businesses thrive.

John started Carney Consulting LLC as a one-man shop in 2011. As the install base grew and he started offering Managed Services on top of the consulting and break / fix work, it soon became too much to continue as a one man operation. In February of 2017, he incorporated under the name of Carney Technology Group Inc. and moved operations into their current location on Swedesford Road in Exton. It's a great place to work, and is centrally located in order to provide the best support to his clients.

Let me introduce you to our team. In the back, we have Carl Cutrone, our Director of Managed Services, you recognize the "good looking" guy in the middle, and then we have Josh Grove, our Systems Engineer. I believe cumulatively we have over 100 years of technology experience in this part of the team alone.

In the front row is Tedi Lowney, Help Desk Specialist and Special Projects, and Joan Phinn, Office Manager and Help Desk Coordinator. Missing from the picture is Vishwa Shanmugam, a senior at Dowingtown STEM, and our first intern since moving into our new location.

We are small, but mighty. We work hard, play hard, and work very well together as a team. It's a great group of people, and I believe we have assembled the right team to allow for significant growth in the near future, and are willing and waiting for the opportunity to work with you and your team. Make us a part of your team so that you can do what you do best, while we do the rest.
